One type of photography I haven't tackled has been Night Photography. A couple of things that stop me from trying that is not really knowing how to expose an image during the night, the settings I should be using to make it look good, and the right equipment. That still shouldn't stop me though.

A couple of nights ago there was a musician at The National Hotel's Fireside playing his last gig at the hotel. I had gotten out early that day so I decided to try out night photography with him as my subject.

This right here is Jesse Humphrey. He was pretty popular amongst the crowd both having songs for kids and interacting with the crowd a decent amount. He even made a couple of ditties about a girl who had dropped, lost, and found her bracelet. All things considered, I think this photograph came out pretty good. There were some people passing by at this time and that's what gives the effect of the image.

I also tried doing another night shot for The National Hotel. This time, I think it came out pretty ok.

I gave it my best shot and it came out ok. Cars and people were moving around so it gave it an interesting light and blurry effect.

I might give night photography more shots, I just need to find things to focus on. You know what I mean?
